| You will go on a journey discovering about the important people, battles, hardships, and life during and just after the Civil War! |

| Remember to follow the directions for each task and to keep a journal of your findings so when you write your newspaper you will already have your notes you will need to complete the articles and pictures. |

| For each task you will be given direction on the resources you should use to find the information for that particular task. The Internet is a vast source of materials, therefore I have done that work for you so you can save time and focus on the tasks. |
